This one of a kind, original signed watercolor painting "The Little Drummer Boy" by Leszek Forczek, features a cascading blend of magenta, red, blue, and rust hues, that form a dynamic ladder of angels ascending and descending toward the Madonna and Child with the Little Drummer Boy. According to the artist and indications by Rudolf Steiner, magenta symbolizes the Threshold between the physical and spiritual realms, while the drummer represents the human heart, linking the earthly and divine. The ladder of angels could symbolize the ribs of the human being with the heart in the center. The vibrant colors enhance our awareness of the Threshold, reflecting the soul's creative journey.
The late artist envisioned this painting as a Christmas Card and or print, which would be wonderful. Any of Leszek's original paintings could be made into prints in collaboration with the late artist's wife so it could be a win/win situation and provide an opportunity for more people have the privilege of living with the genius of Leszek's art. It could be a teaching project for high school students on how to create prints and set up a shop like this one!
