Rose Gold Sophia Pentagram Pendant: with 7 Ruby Roses and a Diamond Studded Moon

The pentagram represents the human being standing in balance, in harmony with the world around him or her. From the heart ray Sun forces related to the metal gold. The 14 Kt. gold pendant is tempered with Copper, the metal of Venus. Venus is related to the soul. Venus traces a fascinating pattern in the sky due to its orbit around the Sun, often described as a pentagram or pentagon when viewed from Earth over an eight-year cycle. The pentagonal pattern is tied to the golden ratio (approximately 1.618). The pentagram is a geometric figure strongly associated with the golden ratio, making Venus’s pattern aesthetically and mathematically striking. The rose flower also portrays this pattern in it's unfolding leaves and blossoms. The seven rubies in the center of the pendant represent seven roses related to the purification of the soul and it's relationship to the world. The crescent Moon slightly below and to the right sparkles with the condensed light of diamonds, helps us behold our conscience which reflects the errors of our personality which then can be alchemized by our Spirit.

The pendant is reminiscent of the Sophianic woman in the book of Revelation who is clothed in the Sun (gold), with stars round her head, and the Moon at her feet. The filagree in the pendant is delicate and meticulously engraved. Sold individually, the stock of two (now one as one is spoken for) are the only two known pendants of this type. They were created in the early 1900's and engraved on the reverse side with calligraphic handwriting. It's possible they were custom made as a husband and wife set. The pendant is small and delicate, roughly an inch and a quarter high and wide.
