"The Last of the Old Seers" Watercolor Veil Painting by Maulsby Kimball

"The Last of the Old Seers" is one of the last paintings Maulsby Kimball created  before he died. When his wife, Ilse Kimball saw it, she gasped and exclaimed that it was a self portrait of himself. For anyone who may have had the priviledge to meet Maulsby, it does indeed look like him!

This original painting is one of a kind with a rich array of colors. A warm heart surrounded by a blue indigo periphery indicating the warmth of Love united with deep Wisdom.

Unframed it is 29 inches long by 21 inches wide. It is currently framed in a dark walnut wood frame and measures 43 inches long and 35 inches wide framed. The price for this painting was the highest of any painting he'd sold. I have the original receipt from Maulsby. The  original price was ($5000). In addition, the current frame and matting cost was @ $800. The original one of a kind painting in the frame is available now for $3500.
